Intro to Soldering - Stacking Rings

Whether you’ve never picked up a pair of plyers or are a dabbling metal smith, take your jewelry making and metalsmithing skills to the next level! Join us for Intro to soldering and learn to make your own stacking ring bands

We will work with multiple metal types including brass, copper, sterling silver, and even rose gold while learning to size, cut, torch solder, embellish, polish and finish several stacking style rings. We will discuss the materials and tools used and the basics behind torch soldering, a fundamental skill for metal smithing. You’ll have the chance to make several bands in your choice of metals, learn different texturing methods, add optional embellishments, and leave with your own handmade stacking rings.
