Our featured artist this week is based here in Milwaukee and the creator of jewelry and accessories with a unique steam punk flair. Ryan Steenhagen, the owner of Steenhagen Studios along with his wife Angela, started putting his extensive collection of watch movements to good use back in 2011. He originally focused exclusively on cuff links, showcasing the inner beauty of time pieces in a an entirely unique manner. Using either silver solder, 2 part epoxy, or professional grade adhesive, his pieces are as durable as they are attractive.

Soon after, Ryan introduced his wife Angela to the trade. Together, they have branched out and introduced different accessories and jewelry to their line. The focus, however, remains a celebration of the inner beauty. They take something so familiar and display the hidden intricacies, creating a one of a kind art form.
